Muzium Lama Negeri Kedah, located at Bakar Bata in Alor Setar, Kedah, is a historic state-owned heritage building. Fully managed by the Kedah State Government, the structure exemplifies traditional Malay architectural influence. Key design features include a limas roof structure, intricate decorative wood carvings (kerawang) depicting flora and fauna motifs, and a distinctive twin winged staircase (tangga bersayap) at the entrance. Functionally, the building accommodates exhibition galleries, administrative offices, and historical artifact storage. Documented through a measured drawing study by Politeknik Sultan Abdul Halim Mu'adzam Shah architecture students, it stands as an important historic landmark.
